Trisomy Awareness Month 2023

March is Trisomy Awareness Month, and this year we are delighted to take part once again. We will have a host of different resources rolling out throughout the month, so be sure to follow us for more!

We will be hearing from a number of different people in the Trisomy community taking part in a series of different podcast topics. These will drop throughout the month, and you can find our podcast library here: https://anchor.fm/softuk

To celebrate the lives of Trisomy families, we also have a remembrance frame that can be used on social media to help raise awareness and celebrate Trisomy Awareness Month 2023. If you’d like to have a photo added to a frame, please email Kate.hart@soft.org.uk who will arrange that for you.

Our new Trisomy Advocate, Sarah Bowell will also be introducing herself and talking about the work she is doing to help support Trisomy families in the future. We hope you’ll tune in and listen to what she has planned.

We’ve also fully launched our new website and will be sharing the new features you can find. A lot of our resources and ways you can interact with SOFT UK have been updated, and we are really excited to introduce those throughout the month.

As always, we want to thank our incredible community for their continued support, and their fundraising efforts. Each year people come together to help raise funds for SOFT UK which helps us to continue providing support to families, host family days, and build new resources for healthcare professionals.
